Active Work Requirement
   Minimum hours per week required for the employees to spend at work, this will qualify employees to maintain eligibility for benefits.

Adjusted pensionable earnings:
   Actual earnings by an employees that have been adjusted to reflect their present value.

Affidavit of Support
   A signed contract by the sponsor that shows that the immigrant will not be dependent on the government due to cash problems and long term care. Affidavits of Support has two types: Traditional and Enforceable.

Aged
   This the required age for most cash assitant programs wherein age 65 years and 4 months as aged are qualified.

Appeal
   Disagreement of an individual with decisions made by an insurance carrier to deny treatment or payment of services already acquired. In other words, this is a request made by dissatisfied clients to review a decision again.

Applicant:
   An individual who availed of a benefit.

Assets
